3M™ Sensitivity Solutions are used to test the sensitivity of the respirator wearer to a sweet or bitter solution. For use with 3M™ Qualitative Fit Test Apparatus Kits FT-10 (Sweet) and FT-30 (Bitter)
Test kits and accessories designed to help your organisation meet regulatory fit testing requirements for respirators. Sensitivity solutions are used to identify whether the test recipient can detect the solution.

  • Replacement sweet tasting sensitivity solution for 3M™ Fit Test Kit FT-10
  • 55ml bottle
  • Used to test whether the wearer can detect the fit testing solution. Two avaliable as a small percentage of the population cannot detect sodium saccharin in which case the bitter soltuion should be used. (Or vice versa)
  • For Occupational Use Only
  • 3M™ recommends users are face-fit tested before using a respirator and repeated regularly as part of their occupational respiratory protection program
  • Follow all applicable national and other guidance with respect to face fit testing. In the UK please see further guidance from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and their guidance document INDG 479 or contact 3M™
